Proceeds were generated through the Eastern ID IMLA golf tournament. Thank you to all our members who supported the tournament and this worthy organization.
Tom Birch Give Back Donation
IMLA gives $100 each month, plus proceeds of a monthly raffle, to a worthy housing-related Idaho non-profit organization. At each of our monthly meetings we draw for one lucky attendee to choose the housing charity with the donation being submitted under that attendee’s name. Tom Birch, President of IMLA from 2009 to 2011, worked for Boise Neighborhood Housing (now Neighbor Works). He was very passionate about his profession and our industry, with particular emphasis on helping first time home buyers. Tom’s legacy to our association was this concept of giving back to the housing related charities in our area. Upon Tom’s untimely passing in 2012, the IMLA board unanimously voted that our donation would be known as “The Tom Birch Give Back Donation”.
